Go Deep or Go Home with the Last Chance Lures Big Crank

When bass are holding on deep ledges, points, and channel swings, shallow-running baits just won't reach them. The Last Chance Lures Big Crank is built to dive deep, hunt hard, and trigger strikes from fish that other anglers can't reach. This is your deep-water workhorse — the lure you tie on when the bite is down deep and the fish are pressured.

Built for Depth and Durability

The Big Crank features an extended diving lip that gets the bait down fast and keeps it in the strike zone longer. The larger body profile displaces more water, creating a wider wobble and a stronger vibration that calls fish up from the depths. Built with a reinforced lip construction that can take a beating against rocks, stumps, and hard bottom without cracking or losing action.

Key Features

  • Deep Diving (10–18 ft): Extended lip design gets down to where big bass live and feed
  • Wide Hunting Action: Larger body creates a wide, aggressive wobble that triggers reaction strikes from suspended and bottom-holding fish
  • Reinforced Lip Construction: Built to withstand repeated impacts with rock, wood, and hard bottom without failing
  • Premium Heavy-Duty Hooks: Equipped with oversized sharp treble hooks sized to match the bait — strong enough to land big fish without bending out
  • Internal Rattle System: Low-frequency thump that carries through deep water and calls fish from a distance
  • Bold, High-Visibility Finishes: Colour patterns designed to be seen at depth, including chartreuse, firetiger, and natural baitfish patterns

How to Fish It

Target offshore structure — ledges, points, channel swings, humps, and rock piles. Make long casts past the structure and crank the bait down to depth with a steady retrieve. Bump it into the bottom and pause on contact — that deflection is when most strikes happen. For suspended fish, count the bait down to their level and use a steady retrieve. Pair with a long 7'4"+ casting rod, a low-gear-ratio reel (5.4:1 or lower) for less fatigue on long retrieves, and 10–12 lb fluorocarbon to help the bait reach maximum depth.

The Deep-Water Difference

Most anglers never fish deeper than 8 feet. The Last Chance Lures Big Crank opens up a whole world of offshore structure that others overlook. When the shallow bite shuts down, the fish don't leave — they go deep. And this is the lure that goes down there and gets them. Tie one on, make a long cast, and start cranking. The big ones are waiting.
