Last Chance Lures Split Tailed Shad — Two tails are better than one. The Split Tailed Shad is engineered to produce maximum action with minimum effort, delivering a seductive, fluttering tail kick that drives predatory fish into a frenzy. When the bite is on, nothing gets eaten faster.
Modelled after the shad and baitfish that gamefish feed on throughout Canadian and US waters, the Split Tailed Shad features a realistic body profile paired with a forked, split tail that produces an erratic, lifelike flutter on every twitch, pause, and retrieve. The dual-tail design creates independent movement on each side, mimicking a wounded or fleeing baitfish — the most irresistible presentation in fishing.
Key Features
- Split Fork Tail Design — Dual tails flutter independently, creating erratic, wounded-baitfish action that triggers reaction strikes
- Realistic Shad Profile — Baitfish-accurate body shape that matches the natural forage in Canadian and US waters
- Premium Soft-Plastic Construction — Supple, durable material that maintains action and holds up through multiple fish
- Versatile Rigging — Swimbait hook, jig head, drop shot, or wacky rig — deadly in any presentation
- Proven Shad Colour Patterns — Natural and high-visibility finishes matched to real baitfish in your local waters
- Scent-Infused Formula — Built-in attractant keeps fish holding on through the strike
How to Fish It
Rig on a swimbait hook and retrieve with a steady swim for bass and pike, or work it on a drop shot with short twitches to activate the split tail on the pause. Wacky-rig through open water for suspended fish, or slow-roll along the bottom for walleye and perch. The split tail does the work — even at rest.
Species: Bass, Pike, Walleye, Perch, Muskie
